I feel like little by little I'm inching closer to sort of 'finding my voice,' as far as comics are concerned. I have a pretty clear vision, now, of how I want my stuff to look -- one that is, as is so often the case with me, partially driven by the fact that it's a style I wish I would see more of, LOL.

I realize, though, the more I try to reach the point of actually putting the images in my head down on paper, that I really need to upgrade my skill-set. I have pretty decent raw talent, but crappy technique.

Thus, I'm planning on taking a bunch of art courses at school (starting in summer term, I hope). Theoretically, work should be calm enough by summer term to let me devote some real time to class work ... and, frankly, as I'm doing it now, I'm trying to reinvent the wheel. My work could be a heck of a lot better.
